DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

SCENE :
 size: 800 * 280

 frame level objects: 21

I started with a 'hill' from my TriMont program.
A hill is a mesh of triangle using up to 5 differnt
trig functions to create an open cylinder. The hill I
 use 20*sin(8*ag)+15*sin(16*ag)+10*cos(32*ag).
I took the hill and pair it with a copy scaled
inversed in the y direction. Then show 10 copies of
that pair each scaled smaller and rotated randomly.
All that sets in a very big sphere.

The colors use are shades of yellow to darkRed.
Both the scale and the color used was based on the
  formula A+(B-A)*n.

There are no lights, everything has an .75 ambient finish.

epilogue: I haven't entered in a while. Minimalism was
to much fun to resist. I must have made 50
different test scenes, each had things I liked.

Why did I choose to enter this? Because...

Well, I don't know. I like it simplisity and color.
I think it fits the criteria to be call minimalistic.
I did google 'minimalism' and found it's definition
and a few examples. But most of that art dealt with
          'Real' paintings(with cavas,paints/brushs)or with
sculptures. I didn't want to do a picture of a picture
or of a scuplture, like a room with that stuff in it.
Besides, I figure someone would do it. What I wanted
          was something unique.
While thinking over minimalism, I came to the
conclusion that all Art, when you get down to the
basics, has one thing in common. It's the 'LOOK AT ME'
factor. When dealing with minimalism art it might not
be representational but it has to have a meaning of
          'look at me'.

Zip-File: SGard4.zip should have everything to parse the scene.

         The files:
          MIN.ini - render
          SGard4.pov - main
          MIN2.mnt- the mesh file

My web page has some basic tools for working with POV-ray.
The TriMont program isn't on it or anything about this picture.
All the tools are writen in C++ and are for Windows.
If enough people want I'll rewrite TriMont and put it there.

Feel free to E-mail me with any comments and or suggests.
If you e-mail me make sure you have POV in the subject
or I might not read it.
