IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

Standing on his scale the invisible man realises he need's to diet.
I came upon this idea while having a look at my own scale the other
day: it was either miscalibrated, or maybe there was in fact an in-
visible person standing on top of it. Hey, if this isn't mysterios ;-)

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

Geometry

The scale is made of profiles lofted along splines, the floortiles
are beveled boxes, text elements are extruded splines. No thrills.

Texturing

Most enjoying part of texturing was making the footprints: my girl-
friend was so kind to let me colour her feet with watercolours and
then stood on a sheet of paper to make a print, which I could scan
to make a b/w displacement map. She pointed out a 123 kg man would
maybe not have such footprints, but I liked them the way they were.

Lighting

Two yellowish omnis from the back and a slight blue spotlight from
the front as main light sources, two orange fill lights from below.
