IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

This is a house model I built from a set of blueprints I had lying around. Our
company makes websites for real estate agents, as well as video game graphics.
I've wanted to make a higher-poly model, so with a myriad of blueprints to
choose from, I picked the one with the most interesting angles, the one I
thought was the most architecturally creative.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

House was generally a measured perimeter of the house, walls were built from
copying the points and building polygons. Everything on the house is either
Mapped to a box or not mapped. The glass reflection is reflecting the dome
with the sky on it (the one seen behind the house).

The trees in the very back are a plane with a render of trees as the texture to
save on polygons. The trees are a trunk with an array of branches applied to
the shape, moved manually, smaller branches applied to that array, and leaves
applied to both branch arrays. The trees took the longest, and went through
several reincarnations. The bushes on either side of the driveway are actually
scaled down trees that I thought looked too much like bushes.

Thanks,
Jason
