at work...

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

After seeing all of the great work done with the new radiosity features in
PovRay 3.5 I started playing with the Athene model that someone in the
newsgroups posted a like to. I liked the results, and thought it would look
good with some caustic reflections off of a reflecting pool. This is the
result. The setting is late afternoon, the "Golden Hours" just before sunset,
when everything looks a bit surreal. I remember playing in a friends swimming
pool as a kid and seeing this quality of color in the evening light.

The statue can be found on the Internet ad can the plant models... I'm not sure
of the exact source, but they we all from some of the "free-model" sites. The
brass vases are Rotational Sweeps in Moray 3.3. The Columns are from Keith
Hull's Moray plugin. His website is found at
http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/keithh/povnew.htm

I haven't included the source files since there are a lot of mesh objects and
that would take up a lot of space...

This image was never meant as a competition entry, and is still not complete...
Its one of those "hmmm... it just needs something more" type ideas. Thanks!
