IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

Until only a few days before the deadline, I had no inspiration for a
scene on this topic. I had started playing with an idea based upon something I
read about Escher on 3D sub-division of space. It seemed a natural progression
from their to populate the scene with people and other objects. For a scene
which started out quite abstract, it turned out to be pretty literal - a
depiction of a woman sleeping and of the dream she's experiencing.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

The 3D "grid" is made of a blob with randomly placed elongated spheres
which incorporates a simple distance-from-the-camera level of detail function.
The grass is (of course) Gilles Tran's MakeGrass macro
(www.oyonale.com), the people are of the Poser variety and everything else is
CSG (acknowledgement's to the IKEA catalogue for the bedroom furniture)
