IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

Alone on its desk, a PC dreams of being something greater... something purer...
something awesome... something like... a flat-screen iMac!

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

The iMac was done entirely in CSG by taking measurements off a display model in
a local apple dealer. The PC's components were CSGs modelled after the ones on
my desk at work. To a lesser extent, the other items were also modelled on ones
in my office. I used standard POV-Ray textures for the most part. The biggest
challenge was probably the thought bubble. I wanted to light it in a way that
wouldn't light the rest of the scene. The solution ended up being the light
falloff parameters in POV-Ray.

This is my first entry into the IRTC, and I'm fairly proud of it (though I see
about 2 million things I could've done better if I hadn't gotten distracted
with work and stuff this month).
