IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

        "Die Traumdeutung" is the original title of Freud's "Interpretation of
Dreams" .



DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


        Because of (once more) lack of time, there's not the sleeping character
I intended to put on the bed.
        So, this picture is rather simple. But, there's still 2 objects a little
more complicated...

        The table, wall, lamp and alarm clock are CSG (the digits are cylinder
filled with media...).

        The mattress was designed using the "Surface Subdivision Suite" (SSS) by
John Van Sickle. The starting mesh
        is constitued with only 28 points. It is subdivide once (28*4=112
points), then the points are perturbed, then
        the mesh subdivided once more (112*4=448), then perturbed, and finally
subdivided 2 twice (448*4*4=7168 points).
        The resulting mesh look like a mattress sleeve.

        This book on the table is really constitued of 100 sheets. The sheets
are the results of 50 cloth simulations,
        and the last ones were image-mapped to make the cover. Look
"fallenbook.pov" for details.

        One area_light and radiosity were used to illuminate this scene.

        The image maps are given in jpeg format in the source archive, and must
be converted to tga.
