IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

        Oh so falls my house of cards...ruined.


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

        The concept and layout were first drawn freehand.  All models are mine. 
The image maps of the cards are from an actual deck of scanned cards.  In case
anyone's curious, the image on the back of the cards is a painting by Norman
Rockwell.  The 14+ hours this scene took to render was due to the combination
of the atmospheric media, focal blur, and radiosity.  I tried to have some fun
with the book titles...note disclaimer...the book titles in no way imply
arrogance of the artist or a correct way to 'master' POV through the example of
this image, it's just sarcasm!  The scene originally had two spotlights, but
the 40+ hours rendering time forced me to knock off one of them.  I really
didn't have time to zip-up the source code, which is actually quite small.
