IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

This image was started two weeks ago. After tossing out the ruins of a
shattered spacecraft,
duplicating ruins of the real world, shattered bug's domiciles and similar
ideas, all of which
didn't "zing" for the topic.

Instead, I leave you with the picture "Childhood Ruins", the nemisis of any
parent with
children. And for those of you not quite so far past your childhoods, memories
of those times
when you had fun and left a room looking just like this.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

This image utilizes gifs from http://ce.eng.usf.edu/pharos/wonders/forgotten

The wooden blocks are my own, along with the couch and chairs. They are POV
primatives.

The bookshelf is from Sonya Roberts posting in p.b.s-f

The legos are from David Fontaine

I had wanted one light spilling into the room from the open doorway, but the
parts not lit
by the light were too dark, so I added the lamp, a second light source.

Some random placement for the legos, some fixed placement for the bricks, some
furniture, some
pictures on the wall and a stupid lamp... waalaa.

I'd have liked to have had more toys to scatter around the room, but time to the
deadline just
didn't allow that to occur.

Two suttle points... the block ruin in the front is a replica of Stonehenge...
the pictures on
the walls are ruins as well.

ENJOY,
Robert J Becraft
