DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


Isosurfaces !!!!  Almost evrything you see on this picture is an isosurface (or
CSG
of isosurfaces). Pretty simple, indeed, with a massive use of noise3d() at
different
frequencies. See the code in iso_utils.inc & plage8.pov.

The little stones are blobs with 2 components and the bucket is simple CSG.

A part of the water texture uses the Fresnel reflectivity model of Megapov.
The other part is filled with a very low-sampling media, that gives this
roughness.
