IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
One of the first comments I saw on the irtc mailing
list after this topic was announced was, "Oh great, now there will be
hundreds of 'I Saw Heaven by the Dashboard Lights'" (by Meatloaf).
Well, here's one of 'em.

The Eastern symbols of Yin and Yang (Westernized with symbolic colors
of blue and pink) tentatively touch, their explorations illuminated by
galactic lights. Each half, exhibiting both traditional male and female
characteristics, relish, yet fear, the first contact.

(Alternative description for those who just gotta have spaceships: Through
an enigmatic parallel evolution, two star voyagers discover themselves
facing an exact replica of their own "unique" craft. Will the occupants
also be exact replicas or completely different?)

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
The symbol was created in Rhino,
then exported into Moray. Placement, lighting and textures were created in
Moray. Once lighting and composition was roughed in, an Chris Colefax's
Galaxy include file was added in. Final tweaking was by hand on the .pov
file in the povray editor.
