earth, fire, water and air- the four elements of creation as
seen as
Four Fantastic Elephant Avatars!

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
I used Fractint to produce the star
field that
I used for the background. Also for the background I used 2 spherical fogs with
settings
that produce clumps. I also used a fog for the comet's tail and cloud for
the comet's head.
There are 2 lights in the comet's head, one blue and one white.
I also set the lights to produce light spheres. I used Illustrator to draw
elephant outlines
that produced the extruded shapes in Raydream's "freeform modeler." I used
Boolean unions to
make the whole elephants. To make the hole in the green cube for the water
elephant I used
subtraction and then added the water elephant twice, once for the clear blue
surface elephant
{with a wave deformer } and once below for a solid white reflecting layer.
There's a blue light
just above the water and a red light just behind the fire elephant. I used the
Raydream fire
primitive for the surface of that elephant and also added a glow channel to the
texture. There
is also a "gel" over the blue water light made from an tiff from a swimming
pool photo. The
earth elephant used a mudd photo to make the texture. The air elephant was
spherically deformed
and then shattered to produce the balloon effect and then given a chrome
texture.
