IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
When I'm at work and need some dry glassware, I open up our oven, and
this is what i see... the pieces of glassware from left to right are as
        follows:
         10ml graduated cylinder
         50ml erlenmeyer flask
         25ml pear-shaped round-bottom flask
         (in front) syringe

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
The actual description of the objects is quite simple, but it took me
a lot of time to get the shapes of the objects (at least somewhat)
correct. All three large glassware objects are lathe objects.

As a novice, it wasn't entirely clear to me how to properly get the
*white* labels onto the glass. On my first few attempts, the
antialiasing
of the text was very obvious, and the glass was being darkened by
the image map. My final solution was this:

        1. Use a grey background for the text/lines
        2. Use a large font size (about 50) so that any antialiasing at the
edges of the letters will not be seen. save as gif.
        3. In an image-manipulation application (i used graphicconverter),
edit the color table, changing the background (grey) to white.
        4. In povray, make the background color index the transparent one.

Anyhow. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend a lot of time working
on the oven walls/shelf, so they look pretty weak. The lighting is
all wrong, and the walls really should have a stainless steel look,
which really doesn't give as sharp of a reflection as I'm getting.
Anyone have a good stainless steel texture? :)

If I actually managed to get the zip file looking like a zip file:
The zip file contains the following files:
         text file: oven.pov, syringe.inc, flasks.inc, area.inc
         images: erlen50b.gif, gradcyl7b.gif, syringe_knurl.gif, pear.gif

I'd be more than happy to give the image to someone in a different
format,
or give the source code if the zip file isn't working.
