ABOUT: This is a rendering of a Chime Clock taken out of a photograph from some department store around here. The object consists of mostly 3D parts, though some custom brushmaps were used. These include the black marble like stuff behind the clock face which is handdrawn from DeluxePaintIV, and the radiating lines on the pendulum disk. Also all the wood is a custom brushmap. The hands, roman numerals and everything else is a 3D object. Also, the background is a simple pastella texture supplied with Imagine 2.0. The object was completed in 2 days (off and on) in about 6 hours on an Amiga 3000, 25 mhz. It took about 2 Megs to render in SCANLINE and consists of over 3500 polygons. *** Yes this is scanline! The shadows are actually 3D objects with an *** *** Attribute I made to make it look like shadows. *** If you like the image or have any questions or comments let me know!
